Each pair of Black Berkey elements lasts for up to 6,000 gallons of water. Depending on your daily usage, this typically equates to several years of clean water before a replacement is necessary.
What is the difference between a water filter and a water purifier?
While standard filters remove basic contaminants, Berkey systems are classified as purifiers because they remove 99.9999999% of pathogenic bacteria and 99.999% of viruses, exceeding the standard for water filtration.
How long does shipping take for my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping within the continental United States usually arrives within 3-7 business days via UPS or FedEx.
Do you offer a warranty on your systems?
Yes, all Berkey systems come with a standard manufacturer's warranty. The Black Berkey Purification Elements are covered by a 2-year pro-rated warranty, ensuring long-term reliability for your home.
Can I return my Berkey if I am not satisfied?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unused and unassembled products in their original packaging. Please contact our support team to initiate a return authorization.
How do I know when it is time to clean my system?
If you notice a significant decrease in the flow rate, it is likely time to scrub the exterior of your purification elements with a Scotch-Brite pad to remove mineral buildup.
